Maintenance

The importance of an excellent custom landscape maintenance program cannot be over-emphasized.  Ongoing, professional maintenance is essential to encourage and preserve the timeless beauty of a garden.  With a proper maintenance program a garden will flourish year after year. 

Landscape maintenance contracts are based on the concept of year round care.  Each maintenance contract is customized to the particular needs of each client and site.  Therefore, the cost or amount of each contract varies with the amount of work needed and performed at the site.  The payment schedule is a flat rate fee, billed at the end of each month after services have been rendered.  Plant material, fertilizers and other garden supplies are provided by Alejandro Haro, Inc. and are billed as separate items on the monthly invoice.  In general, a custom landscape maintenance program under contract consists of the following items:

• Mowing, edging, weed control, fertilization, aerifying and reseeding of lawn areas, light pruning, spraying and fertilization of shrubs, regular inspections for diseases or pest for lawn areas, trees and shrubs.  Replacement of all flower seasonal color beds.

• Existing irrigation systems are periodically checked, programmed and maintained to ensure that watering is executed to all lawn, shrub, planting and ground cover areas.  We will make recommendations on how to improve the existing irrigation system if we feel it is necessary.
  

• We will recommend extra landscape work such as brush clearances, tree trimming and hauling, spraying or any other landscape renovation work needed to enhance or improve the landscape maintenance program at the site.
