 History
Upon graduation, he joined Landscape Architect Warren Lausen, FASLA, as a landscape draftsman. Within a year, he worked with another Landscape Architect, Rolla Wilhite, FASLA. There he was responsible for landscape design development, planting design and implementation of construction documents on the site. It was also here that he gained experience in specimen trees at Mr. Wilhite’s Berylwood Tree Farm in Camarillo, CA. After one year he went on to join Hogan Roy Partners, a landscape architectural firm in Costa Mesa, CA. Here, he gained landscaping experience, from a developer’s perspective, in large housing developments and planning. Finally, he joined his father, Jesse Haro,
CLCA, forming Jesse and Alex Landscaping, Inc., extending his father’s
15 year experience in landscape contracting and maintenance. Serving
here as Vice-President for 10 years, Alex established himself and their
company as a major force in residential landscaping.

California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) a non-profit trade
organization of state licensed landscape contractors. CLCA “serves
the interests of its members, promotes professionalism, and advances awareness
of the landscape industry”.
