Design

The design process is a step-by-step creative planning process with an experienced landscape professional who will assist you in all aspects of landscaping for your project.  Depending on the criteria set forth by a client, there are various ways to implement a landscape design.

When a major, new landscape development is being proposed,  plans or drawings may be needed to communicate the concept and estimate the cost of the landscape project.  Landscape plans/drawings are an important tool for both the landscaper and his client.  These plans illustrate hardscape design, irrigation layout, planting design/selection, outdoor garden lighting and detailed landscape specifications.  These Plans are used as a guide to fulfilling the design at the site.

Landscape renovation is the process of “bringing back” or upgrading of an existing, mature landscape.  In some cases, there is fabulous plant material to begin working with and hence, another different design process begins.  Most of the large trees or plant material are pruned back, reshaped and generally cleaned-up to restore the beauty and value of the plant material or speciman.  The existing irrigation system is checked and re-evaluated to assure that it will support the proposed landscape renovation design.  Outdoor lighting and any possible hardscape work is also checked or proposed in this phase of landscape development.
